Bagian: Penglihatan kedelapan: Empat kereta perang
1Lalu saya melihat empat kereta perang yang datang dari antara dua gunung perunggu.2Kereta perang yang pertama ditarik oleh kuda-kuda berwarna merah, kereta kedua oleh kuda hitam,3kereta ketiga ditarik kuda putih, dan kereta keempat ditarik oleh kuda berbintik-bintik.4Lalu saya bertanya kepada malaikat wakil TUHAN itu, “Apa ini, Tuanku?”5Dia menjawab, “Semua itu adalah kereta dan kuda-kuda surgawi yang berangkat dari hadapan Sang Penguasa Bumi menuju ke empat penjuru mata angin.6Kereta dengan dua kuda hitam bertugas pergi ke arah utara, kereta dengan dua kuda putih ke barat, kereta dengan dua kuda berbintik-bintik ke selatan, dan kereta dengan dua kuda merah pergi ke timur.”7Kuda-kuda itu sangat kuat dan kelihatan gelisah ingin segera berangkat mengitari dunia. Lalu malaikat itu memberi perintah, “Pergilah dan awasi seluruh bumi!” Mereka pun langsung pergi.8Malaikat itu kemudian menyerukan perkataan TUHAN kepada saya, “Dahulu Aku sangat marah kepada kerajaan Babel. Tetapi kereta dan kuda-kuda hitam itu pergi ke utara membawa hukuman dari-Ku, sehingga murka-Ku sudah reda.”
Bagian: Imam Besar Yosua menerima mahkota
9Lalu saya menerima pesan lain dari TUHAN,10“Heldai, Tobia, dan Yedaya akan membawa persembahan emas dan perak dari orang-orang Yehuda yang masih tinggal di Babel. Saat mereka tiba, temuilah mereka di rumah Yosia anak Zefanya.11Terima persembahan itu dan buatlah menjadi sebuah mahkota. Lalu kenakan mahkota itu pada Imam Besar Yosua anak Yozadak,12dengan mengatakan, ‘Inilah raja yang Aku beri nama Sang Tunas, karena dari takhtanya dia akan bertumbuh seperti pohon dan sangat dimuliakan. Dia imam besar sekaligus raja, dan padanya kedua jabatan itu akan berperan sebagai satu kesatuan. Dia akan berhasil membangun rumah-Ku.’14“Mahkota itu akan ditempatkan di dalam rumah-Ku untuk mengingatkan bangsa Israel agar menghormati orang-orang yang memberikannya, yaitu Heldai, Tobia, Yedaya, dan Yosia anak Zefanya.”15Dan saya, Zakaria bernubuat bahwa banyak orang dari berbagai bangsa akan datang untuk membangun kembali rumah TUHAN. Ketika hal itu terjadi, kalian akan tahu bahwa yang mengutus saya sebagai nabi kepada kalian benar-benar adalah TUHAN Panglima Semesta. Semuanya itu akan terwujud bila kalian sungguh-sungguh menaati TUHAN Allahmu.

1Again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of bronze.2In the first chariot were red horses. In the second chariot were black horses.3In the third chariot were white horses. In the fourth chariot were dappled horses, all of them powerful.4Then I asked the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?”5The angel answered me, “These are the four winds of the sky, which go out from standing before the Lord of all the earth.6The one with the black horses goes out toward the north country; and the white went out after them; and the dappled went out toward the south country.”7The strong went out, and sought to go that they might walk back and forth through the earth. He said, “Go around and through the earth!” So they walked back and forth through the earth.8Then he called to me, and spoke to me, saying, “Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.”9Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,10“Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah; and come the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have come from Babylon.11Yes, take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;12and speak to him, saying, ‘Yahweh of Armies says, “Behold, the man whose name is the Branch! He will grow up out of his place; and he will build Yahweh’s temple.13He will build Yahweh’s temple. He will bear the glory, and will sit and rule on his throne. He will be a priest on his throne. The counsel of peace will be between them both.14The crowns shall be to Helem, to Tobijah, to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in Yahweh’s temple.15Those who are far off shall come and build in Yahweh’s temple; and you shall know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you. This will happen, if you will diligently obey Yahweh your God’s voice.”’”
